Nikki Behrens
Head Coach
Coach Behrens graduated from Illinois State University with degrees in Health Education, Family and Consumer Sciences and Special Education. She has a Masters in Education Leadership and Administration. Coach B is currently a Culinary Arts Teacher and the Dog Pound Sponsor at BHS. Coach B is a Batavia Cheer Alumni.
Jessica Pierce
Assistant Coach
Coach Jess studied journalism and communication at Northern Illinois University and also cheered for the NIU Huskies during her time there! Coach Jess is a Real Estate Agent for Baird & Warner. Coach Jess is also a Batavia Cheer Alumni.
Mariah Harden
Assistant Coach
Coach Mariah studied English and Political Science at Northern Illinois University where she cheered competitively. She currently works as a Cheer Product Line Manager at GK Elite. Coach Mariah is also a Batavia Cheer Alumni.
Cheer Coach Mission Statement
Our mission as coaches is to safely teach student athletes proper techniques and training to become the best cheerleaders and students they can be. It is our responsibility as coaches to support the BHS Cheer Team as they develop their academic goals, provide positive leadership in the community, and carry on a tradition of excellence in the athletic arena that produces advanced spirit and competitive cheerleaders. We, as coaches, will provide our student athletes with skills that carry them throughout high school, college, and the real world.
